That’s why I’m asking. If there are no rules about what constitutes a gift, then I might as well have an infinite number of them, because crunch-wise it’s the same thing as having exactly the number of tokens I want to have.
I will allow up to 1 per day of each type. (Mundane, magical, etc)

"The character is bound by the Apple King, they must either shed their blood in the orchards of one of the wealthy families that make up the elite of Minuit. "

Either what?

Also, can we just waltz to the orchards or are they guarded?

The option is in the resolution.

It is open to the public in the evening and later hours.

What if we want to go earlier? How should we handle that?

Probably stealthy MGS action since there are workers and minor security there.

In the Apple King event, it gives a penalty for every roll for those who ate an apple. Does the penalty apply until we make our payment, or must we make a payment and take the penalty?

The the Dream A Little Dream event: (viewtopic.php?f=28&t=148)

There is a procedure for entering the subject's dreams:
Make a pledge with the client, as part of the signing of the contract. This counts towards the event. Then after they are asleep, enter the hedge and fall into a meditative sleep to enter the dream. Spend a point of wyrd and roll: resolve+composure+wyrd extended (5 successes)
This equals 5 minus number of turns to achieve dream points to a minimum of zero.
1) With the "This equals 5 minus number of turns to achieve dream points to a minimum of zero." line, does this refer to number of Dream points gained, as in "the fewer rolls it takes you to accrue success, the more Dream points you get"?

2) There is a Contract (Dream Steps) which allows the Changeling to enter a dream of a person through contact. Does this take priority?

The Condition is resolved when you make your offering or give up a secret, until then it applies.

1. Exactly what I meant, sorry if it wasn't clear.
2. You may use the contract as if you got all successes in one turn.
