So I'm considering options in the inferno thread... for my helldiver ability, it says "While fading, the Helldiver cannot take any non-reflexive actions or interact with objects or people, and attacks with a non-magical component pass harmlessly through her."

I'm assuming that means the fire won't damage me. *But*, what I really want to know is whether or not I can grab a few books to save, *then* activate the ability, and have those books fade along with me into an incorporeal state (the way I assume my clothes do).

Sure, I will allow a few books. Few being 2-3. Just remember a turn is 3 seconds long, and the fire is beginning to spread into the shop.

Is the fire still contained enough that I could smother it? Keeping in mind that i am a very large human of 6' 7" and fairly broad.

Would it help, combined with Craig's smoshing of the fire, to use Elemental Weapon to conjure up a water-weapon to put out fires?
