[D5 LN] Courting Crows

[Gray]

Gray has heard of this place, but has never been. As a relatively new arrival (to Court anyway), the idea of meeting with any King or Queen set him on edge. Never mind one that wasn't his own. Never, NEVER mind heading for the home of one who was a beautiful female in the middle of the night.

He clears his throat as he makes his way to the doorman. "I am here to request an audience with the Queen. Mr. Numbers may have mentioned our conversation the other day."

[Dapper Dog]

The doorman nodded and allowed him entry the bottom floor had a yoga studio feel but with swings and poles and implements for pain and pleasure. He said, "Wait here while I see if the Mistress is busy."

A few moments pass before he returned and said, "Head down the hall and up the stairs. She will receive you."

[Gray]

Gray is unable to resist his cat-like instinct, playfully batting at a few of the toys hanging. "These look like fun~" He offers a grin with too many teeth to the doorman before following the instructions and heading up the stairs to his destination.

[Queen of Crows]

The upstairs was converted into a living area with a large living area and a wall put in to divide from her sleeping area which had scintillating beads of dark colors acting as a door. There were lots of cameras and a portion of the living area looked more like a studio for photo-shoots or streams.

The Queen of Crows slipped through the beads wearing a dark black nightie and a black robe over the ensemble with a shoulder exposed. Her hair was wild as she worked to put in a bun and from beyond the beads he could hear gentle snoring.

“Alexa play my Bad Witch playlist,” and the device complied filling the area with low volume heavy metal music.

“So what brings the court of Fall to my lair?” she finally asked as she lit up a joint.

[Gray]

Gray nods appreciatively at the music, as the sight of the lovely cold queen isn't too hard on the eyes either...but then again, neither was the Lady.

"Well for one my Queen, I wanted to warn you that Mr. Numbers and his operation may be a bit noisier than perhaps you like. Your product might have gotten picked up my a mortal police detective if someone hadn't asked someone to check in on poor Boney Louise, and that person hadn't lifted it from out of the police detective's pocket. A bit of Arcadia in crystal meth? Interesting choice But it has one of Summer's Knights hot under the collar."

"But I have to say, something that negates the Fae? Something that could be used as a weapon? That's something that has real promise, and shouldn't be simply thrown away because it makes Summer or Spring uncomfortable. And I am confident that I am not the only person on Autumn who feels that way. But, at the least, I would like to offer my services that could help bring a project like that to fruition...perhaps work toward a long term partnership."

[Queen of Crows]

"What services do you provide?" she asked as she took a deep drag.

[Gray]

"I am a very discreet investigator. I'm not too bad in a scrap, especially in dream combat. I know enough of the Occult to get by." Gray pauses, nodding. That seems an honest enough assessment of himself. "Though I would love to learn more about that. And that's me, if you have a weapon for combating, and it works, or looks close to working, well..."

Gray tries to study the Winter Queen. "I'm discreet enough not to take the words of others in confidence and bandy them around. I would say though, that if there is a deliv'rable, I would call it "informed speculation" that Autumn would side with Winter over any of the others who might raise any objections. And I believe that being in the room to convince others of those benefits is another service I can provide."

[Queen of Crows]

She responded, "Well that is an impressive resume. Would you have any issue working with Mr. Numbers?"

[Gray]

"No personal ones." Gray responds nonchalantly. "The biggest potential issue would be if I am seen with him, and word possibly gets back to Craig. If I coordinate with, but lurk around, well, I don't see any problems."

[Queen of Crows]

"Mr. Numbers is my point man for most of our operations so as long as that is understood then I think we have a tentative alliance," she said removing her robe and making her way to a shower turning the water and testing it casually till it was to her liking.
