"I don't bite." Marcus chuckles, causing his wide chest to shudder. "Unless you want me to." His lips curled to a canine grin, his claws pushing bit further. Her touch elicited a happy murmur, accompanied by scent of marshmallows and champagne. The beast clearly did not object to being touched.

Chantelle unfolded her wing, casting it over him like a blanket. As her fingers caressed the beast’s strong, flat stomach, gently pulling her manicured nails through the coarse tangles, the tip of her faux wing, the fused ‘fingers’ that were entirely hidden by feathers, reached his hip. They were long, lacking the dexterity of normal digits, but they stroked his side with each movement of her hand.

The beast growled softly, the tones of plums pushing away the lighter notes of marshmallows. "I missed that. I think." Marcus murmured, his claws teasing the the egret. "Just being touched without being hurt." He moved to pull a pillow under his back so that he could lounge in a half-sitting position, easing one of his legs between hers.

Chantelle murmured sadly, easily moving with him, but the scent of wine was growing stronger, her sweeter notes blending with his tannin ones. She pinched little tufts of his fur, pulling her fingers along the strands, her wing feathers making soft rustling sounds as they moved against his coat. She knew such wounds couldn’t be healed as easily as cuts and bruises, but knowing that she had helped in some small way was a warm feeling, scented like cinnamon.

Marcus gasped happily, returning the favor as his claws brushing against her soft feathers. She could feel him tremble ever so slightly when she ran her fingers over his fur, the beast's desiew blending with hers. "Mhhmm... I could get used to this." His voice was but a whisper brimming with an awakening hunger.

“It certai’ly nice,” Chantelle answered, shifting against him, rolling slightly so she could turn her beak more fully towards him, preening at the fur of his neck, little nibbling and pulling motions, intimate and encouraging. Warm affection underpinned the rising wines and plums, all but drowned by the intoxicating scent.

He shifted his hips, letting her lounge more comfortably on him, growling happily as she nibbled his fur, his claws pressing now more firmly against her. "Mhmhmh..." the beast could not quite vocalize his thoughts, though there was little need for she could drink deep of his emotions.

She didn’t need to read his emotions when his body was broadcasting loud and clear. Chantelle looked up at him through her thick eyelashes, blinking slowly, black pupils huge as her hand slipped lower...
