Gray prowls around as the detective looks over things and he catches a scent of something sweet wafting from behind the toilet. It smells sugary and fruit like but does not match any scents he is familiar with in the realm of the normal but reminds him of something fae like.

“Well aren’t you helpful, kitty-boi, or maybe you are just thirsty-wirsty?” she said in that baby talk tone. She opened the top of the toilet to look inside and then said, “Well, Mister Louise, looks like your kitty is very helpful.”

She pulls out a small bag of what looks like weed but it isn’t what is giving off the smell.

There is a glint of shiny behind the toilet a small black flecked white crystal, just a single one but this is the source of the smell to his feline nose. It looks like rock crystal, but no larger than maybe a pinhead.

Still it seems to bleed Arcadia.

Gray struts behind the toilet and tries to clamp the crystal between his claws, or at the very least subtly bat it out before a leisurely stroll back to the open door.

The detective noticed Gray and then saw the rock crystal thing and bent down and carefully picked it up with her gloved hand and then put it into an evidence bag. She then opened her phone and said, “Detective Nguyen, going to need the lab to do a chemical analysis of something when I get back to the office. Probably crystal meth, but just want to be sure. Should be back in the office in about thirty.”

Detective Nguyen looked at Gray and said, “Well little kitty-boi, I have to get back to work. I’ll make sure someone gets you to a shelter, okay?”

Satisfied she made her way out of the apartment.

Gray continues to follow along in the hallway, keeping a decent tail, looking for some way to discreetly brush by and snag the evidence bag.
