[Day 1 - LE] Studying for the Weekend

TB’s sheet had similar questions but not all were the same, she seemed a little bit embarrassed at the questions and said in a whisper, “I don’t think I understand some of these questions, maybe that is part of the study?”

There was a small tilt of the head, then a nod.

"I think they are. I can help though if you need? Can't say I'll know all of what they mean but I'll do my best. All we can do after all."

She collected two of the pencils and offered one to TB.

[Mina Gideon]

The door pushed open again, and the slight brewer nearly tumbled into the classroom. "Am i too late for the thing?" Mina gave a half-smile when she was handed the questionaire and retrieved a pencil. Feeling the familiar caress of her Queen's mantle - Mina looked around the room quickly, though her gaze narrowed curiously at sight of the winterling beside TB. She hustled over and slid into a seat next to them.

"Hey, so, glad to see I'm not the only one wondering about psychic phenomenon and our condition. Cool to meet you, I'm Mina," she whispers as well and holds out a hand to the winterling- her fingers are metallic, rainbow-oil slicked that glint in the terrible lighting, and she has significant burn scars at her wrists where her sleeves don't quite cover.

She looks the sheet over. "What the hay?"

“Mina! This is Leah, she’s a psychic or testing to be a psychic? I don’t know but hey we might get a gift card! I am going to buy so many pizzas with it,” she offered.

Triss scrunched her nose as she slowly answered the questions and then said, “Is this last line even for real? Isn’t that from a story or something… Lovelace or something?”

As people finish they bring their paper up to the front some say the phrase others do not; it seems like those that do are directed to another room while the rest are dismissed.

"Yeah, I'm Leah" The winter changling replied, shaking the girls hand. Her own hand was freezing cold, and it left a few drops of ice on Minas hand as she pulled away to fill in her sheet.

"Well. Time to go up. You can say it or you can not. If you want to learn something, I suggest you say it." Leah stood up, walking up to the front and saying "ia ia, Cthulhu ftaghn" slowly to make sure she said it correctly.

She looked at her own sheet, and struggled a bit to focus enough to read it, but eventually she got it.
Answering what amounted to a bunch of nonsense, Mina bounded to her feet when she was done, and then winked at her Queen; "Come on, slowpoke!"

She went up to the clerk and said the words, "ia ia, Cthulhu ftaghn?"

Craig didnt believe in human mysticism or psychic powers at all but 50 dollars was 50 dollars and contrary to popular belief coaching and bouncing didnt pay well so if he could get 50 bucks for doing an hours worth of work well it sounded like a good deal to him.

The giant man had to turn his broad shoulders and duck as he entered the class room. He had come from the party with Mina and noticed a few familiar faces nodding as he grabbed his own paper and began filling in the rather bizarre questions.

TB mimicked the other awkwardly and they were directed to another classroom, smaller with a single round table, a chromebook sat on the table and the walls were a sterile off-white. There was a single bookcase but it was empty except for three books two spiral bound notebooks and a picture book called Dreams of Karkosa.

The cover had a cutesy drawing of a man in a yellow gown laying on bed with an old time yellow floppy sleeping hat. His bed floated above a city of spiral towers. There is no author or any other markings but the title.

Next to the Chromebook are typed out instructions.

Please open the Chromebook login using the guest account and then open Discord, it should connect to the correct server and then join Room 3 and then wait for further instructions.

Do not read the books.

Craig is ushered into the room assuming he used the phrase as well.

There was a shrug, then Leah looked at the others.
