[Day 3 - LN] Hail to the King (Limited)

The wizened continued to move closer, wanting a closer look at everything that was happening.

[Mina Gideon]

Mina eased forward as well - deathly, disturbingly curious, her fingers moving and twitching at her sides, and her eyes wide. What was going on? She would step closer and closer to the monster in girl's clothing.

[Dapper Dog]

To get any closer to the old tree and the monster shaped as a girl they would have to forcibly press through the throng of masked people. Not violently but enough to show they wish a closer look otherwise the creature does not seem to notice their presence or betray concern for them.

[Craig Walker]

Ever the battering ram and curiosity piqued by the strange situation Craig did press forward past the gathering of people wanting a closer look at what was happening here.

[Dapper Dog]

The child dipped her hands into the pool of crimson sap, her hands already stained sticky crimson from the repeated act and offered it to Craig. The smell was sweet and inviting like an apple pie and fresh coppery blood.

[Jack Doyle]

Jack followed in the big man's wake. If his presence was revealed, so be it.

[Mina Gideon]

"1.. 2.. 3.. Looks like we're diving in," she murmurs - and steps forward as well, contract dissolving, gaze narrowed in on the sticky fingers of the girl, and Mina is drawn forward.

[Dapper Dog]

The twisted apples with fleshy faces hanging from the tree turn and focus on the three Lost and said in unison with cicada like voices, “You are strangers here, you come to me, you do not bow… you wear the flesh of the ape-things… but are not them. Are you Lost?”

[Jack Doyle]

"We are." There didn't seem to be any point in denying it.

[Dapper Dog]

"We are." There didn't seem to be any point in denying it.

“The road is not far, turn back the way you have come and you will be Lost no more,” the voices croaked.

“But if you seek my patronage then bow to me as I am the King of the land, the bones, the blood, and all things that walk on my soil.”
