"Well, there's something..." Gray gives Dily's ear an affectionate nip. "There's a new friend!" The cat man grins. "I guess I was just a bit too on edge"

"I bet. Mine had thorns as long as my claws." The beast flexed arm. His mien had beastly paws with wicked claws three inch long. "So we would not escape." He added with a mournful growl. "But I couldn't even think about escaping most of the time." There was grief in his eyes.

Marcus shook his cup gently, dipping his tongue in it to sip a little. The sight was rather gruesome, a beast stuffing his thick, long tongue into a small cup.

"There was this girl here." He glanced around, not finding what he was looking for. "Used to bunk with her. It helped. Now she is here no more."

His claws made Chantelle uncomfortable. They reminded her of the grasping hands that reached into her cage and pulled her feathers. Souvenirs of the Keeper’s songbird. “One o’ us, or a mortal girl? Meybe I coul’ ‘elp you fin’ ‘er?”

He moved with her his large form surprisingly dexterous as he jumped and swayed to the music his basso laugh coming from his hulking form as he occasionally spun and even lifted Mina to the music.

Craig also heard the commotion and glanced over, but seeing no immediate threat he attempted to return to the dance when he noticed Mina had gone still. "You ok?" He asked leaning down so he was closer to her level.

The upset seemingly over, she dances with Walker again, keeping close to him- "Just peachy," she affirms an answer, and closes her eyes to lean her head on him.

He took an another sip from his cup. "She said we had no chance. That if the demons came, they'd drag us all back." Marcus grimaced. "Didn't agree with that either. And now she's gone."

The beast’s laugh was unpleasant, but at least it wasn’t disturbingly so, the egret sighing thoughtfully as she began to put the pieces together. “Mais, will you be stayin’ on a spell?”

"Mhhm? What do you mean?" The beast asked, hia tail and ears perking up.

"You, ya dummy." Gray ruffles the hair between the hare's ears. "Well, technically speakin' all my friends are new."

The upset seemingly over, she dances with Walker again, keeping close to him- "Just peachy," she affirms an answer, and closes her eyes to lean her head on him.

Walker nods as they resume the dance his arms around the smaller woman as they move with the beat.

"Dily thinks we should come up with a name for our little motley. Shes been watching too many comic book movies thinks we should be like the Justic League or the Avengers." He said with a little laugh.

"Mhhm? What do you mean?" The beast asked, hia tail and ears perking up.

“Ere, in de Freehol’,” Chantelle elaborated, “you plan on ‘angin’ ‘round, or do you see yourself movin’ on in shor’ orda?”
