Autumn may have a hold on fear, but they did not own it, and with the leaves falling outside, it felt only right to play the part. “Such a beas’,” Chantelle crooned, “I’m no tasty morsel fo’ you to nibble on,” but she raised her beak and exposed her slender neck all the same. Marcus’ desire seemed to her to hang on the air like perfume, ready to be turned by the bittersweet twist of denial. But the beast was huge, and angry, and the egret was playing a dangerous game. Genuine fear crept around the edges of her emotions like a prowling cat.

She drew upon the Wyrd that seeped from the faerie world, clinging to the Lost like mist, “you promise you won’ hurt me?”

"Aye, I promise to not draw your blood nor ruffle your feathers until the sun next sets." the Beast most Fowl solemnly sword, the feathers on his tail narrowing as if they were suspicious of... something. Not that Marcus or Chantelle had the time or the interest to see what was going on under the chair. "Is that fine?" he asked hungrily, running his tongue under her chin.

Chantelle shivered delicately at the caress of his tongue, “I daresay dat is jus’ fine,” the magic of the fae would be the final arbiter of that, but she was satisfied. Chantelle lightly rubbed the side of her beak against Marcus’ muzzle, one hand twining amongst the groomed fur at the back of his neck, the other stroking his large biceps, his coarse fur felt almost crinkly under the egret’s slender fingers, dry as a field of grass in high summer.

She could feel him inhale sharply as pressed her beak against his snout. Holding her her leg, he moved his thumb to caress the inside oh her thigh, the claw running over her feathers. "You sure this fine?" he whispered, moving is other arm around her waist and pulling firmly so that she sat in the beast's lap, facing him. "Are you as hungry are I am?" his warm breath was raspy, heavy with desire. Marcus gave Chantelle no time to answer as next thing she could feel was his tongue running over the nape of her neck.

"Jus' don' go gettin' carried away, beb," Chantelle crooned. Their shapes were awkward against each other, inhuman and strange, it would take some practice to work out how to make them fit, but there was no hurry for that. Wrapping her arms around Marcus' shoulders, she closed her wings about him as best she could, his back was so broad, but the strange fused fingers that extended down from her hands were massaging into his strong muscles, the free digits twirling his fur around her red-painted nails.

"Mhmh?" the beast growled his question even as his hands found a purchase on her rear, pressing her crotch against his. "What do you mean, babe?" There was a short, pleased whimper when her fingers hit a particularly sweet spot. "Do you have any idea what you are doing to me?" he half whispered, half murmured to her ear, his voice filled with barely contained passion.

Chantelle had some idea, and that made her pull back a bit. Nestling the tip of her beak at the base of the beast's ear, she preened the shorter fur there before murmuring, "dow' boy, ta' a momen' to savour your catch before you devour it." She brought a long fingered hand up to his other ear, scritching behind it with her long nails.

That caused his nose to wrinkle, pulling towards the side she was scritching and causing his rather fierce mien look rather comedic for a moment. "Uh? Play?" the beast sounded as puzzled as he looked. "What do you mean babe?" As if to emphasize his point he tugged her hips, making sure that she could feel him beneath her.

She could feel him, and it roused in her equal measures of excitement and nervousness. "De tings we 'ave to wai' fo' always tas' de sweetes', beb, we go' no reason to rush." Her sweet voice was soothing, but filled with promise as she caressed his cheek.

"So you have something on your mind, babe?" the beasts claws relented, slowly climbing along her back until coming to rest at her shoulders. He wasn't strictly pinning her down anymore, though she could still acutely feel his need. "I'm but a beast, I know little else." Marcus growled.
