"Tristan Rivenell," Tristan said with a bow.

"Fraid I don't drink soda - it's very bad for humans, you see," he replied doing his best to be non-threatening.

"Why he bowing?" Big Nose said.

"Maybe he thinks you're royalty, ye majesty of the fishes," Lazy Eye responded.

"Pike it you lot, no soda bottle no ride unless you got something just as fancy?" the last one said.

...and pulled out a big shiny red apple. The apple king had, after all, left *two* of them, and she'd eaten only one of them.

They all look greedily at the apple and Big Nose asks, "And what is that... what is this red shiny thing you offer?"

[Samantha Hayne]

"It is an apple," she said. "It is much coveted by dose of good taste, back where we are from."

[Dapper Dog]

"You give us the apple and we give you a ride to Junk Ville, savvy?" the Leader said.

[Tristan]

"A fair bargain, do you not think? Mayhap even a little better for you as apples are very hard to come by here," Tristan offered.

[Jonathan Whitford]

"I would agree." Jonathan nodded his head and looked to Samantha to finish the trade. He would have to make a note to bring in more things to trade the next time he enters the Hedge, not as if he planned on it when coming here to begin with.

"Well," she looked at the apple for a moment, then back to the goblins. "Okay."

They bring the long boat to the shor and quickly take the apple and look at it but don't eat it. Big Nose said, "Welcome aboard."

The Gobs scramble on the boat and head off whistling three different songs at three different paces.
