He took a long sip. Tiffani likely realized it was a bit too long when Jack put a hand up to his temple and grimaced in pain.

"It's... good. Really good."

"I do like sweets." he grinned.

Jack looked around the food court, clearly amazed and a bit bewildered at what he saw. "So many options. So much food..."

"Oh yes." he nodded. "I like all sorts of berries. Blackberries may be my favorite. But, I like cherries, too."

"I don't think so?" he shook his head. "What's a Julius?"

"I'm still full from the pizza." he patted his stomach. "And, I should get back to Chantelle soon. Is there anything you think I should try, while we're here?"

"Maybe I am anti-social." he shrugged. "I don't recall ever being social."

"You can ask questions." he offered. "I'll answer what I can. I just don't talk much. Never have."

"That would be good." he nodded. "Chantelle did give me a phone. I think it's a simple one."

"I think you may be better equipped for the adjustment." he explained. "You at least seem to have a notion of what those things are, how they may have evolved from technology and ideas you're familiar with. For me, this is all like something Verne or Wells would have written or from a radio adventur...

"Watching you adjust will help me adjust." he answered. "You at least have some familiarity with the modern world. So much of it is entirely new to me."
