Walker didnt seem to have any issue with their proximity, on the contrary he seemed to conform around her when she sat his arm lowering a bit and his side coming into contact with hers. "Well you are certainly the expert, who am I to doubt your intuition." He said with a chuckle.

"Di' you enjoy de Apple Festival? Spookin' de locals woul' come easy to you, non?" She'd been shedding parts of her costume since returning home: the staff had been first to be put aside, then the headdress, followed by the 'jewellery', until all that was left was the dress and the skull makeup.

Craig shrugged "Never actually been one for creating fear, not really my thing. I did some bar hopping, for a small town Minuit has a pretty decent collection of bars." He said with a little chuckle "you certainly look like you had a good time scaring some people out there."

“It differen’ now,” Chantelle tilted her head to the side, “the gree gree is real.” Shrugging a little, “now I ‘ave see’ de oder side, now I know de cunja. I daresay dat scarin’ de normal fol’s is a way of copin’, li’ if I ca’ ma’ it funny, it won’ be so frightenin’.”

Craig almost unconsciously nestled the little egret into his side as she talked about coping and fear "I can understand that. Controlling the fear, changin it, it's a lot like what autumn does. The control it so it doesn' control them." He said in a somber tone nodding along with Chantelle as she spoke.

"But you make a very sexy voodoo witch if I may say." Craig joked trying to lighten the mood back up from the more serious direction it seemed to be heading.

Chuckling, “mais, wha’ ca’ I do? I am de daugh’er of Spring. Speakin’ of, dough, woul’ you object’ terribly if I change ou’ of dis costume?” she looked up at him with liquid chocolate eyes and a hint of a seductive smile, “unless you taken a shine to de skull loo’,” Chantelle indicated to the heavy makeup.

Craig smiled intentionally drawing her in and leaning down placing his lips on her cheek briefly "well you do looked pretty fine in it....." he said somewhat softly before separating from her "but yeah go ahead and get comfortable no need to stay in costume here."

Chantelle glanced at Craig’s costume and smirked a little. Her hand trailed on his arm as she got up, “whe’ I ge’ ba’, I'll pour de wine. I won’ be a momen’,” and she flitted away.

As promised, she returned quickly, having washed her face and exchanged the rather cheap costume for a slinky gown that hugged her curves so close it was hard to tell if it was a dress or a full-length chemise. It was silvery-green silk, the colour of the leaves of a lavender plant. Twin thigh-high slots let her move easily, sweeping back into the kitchen to open the wine.

Craig's eyes certainly devoured her as she reentered the room, moving up and down her body. His gaze caressed her curves slowly from the bottom to the top until he met her eyes with a grin that certainly held a slight sharpness of hunger as he closely watched her get the wine, his eyes certainly watching her backside "I think I gotta say you look just as good in this. Do you mind if I lose the vest? It's not super comfortable for lounging."

“Mind? Mais, I encourage it, I wan’ you to be comfor’ble,” she poured generously from the wine bottle, the wine glasses quickly developing a mist of condensation. Chantelle kept the apartment warm, and with Craig present the weather was—appropriately perhaps—downright summery.
