[Father Steel]

"There is a rot in the Freehold, folks don't want to hear it but it's there. This is the time to remove it, Winter is only symptom of this degradation. I have been speaking with some guests and some have concerns, concerns that I would like to look into, and if they are as bad as I'm thinking concerns we all should be aware of," Father Steel responded.

"Minuit is in danger, there could be loyalists afoot."

[Craig Walker]

Walker's eyebrows rose, of course loyalists were always a possible concern but they were fairly rare. Most people cant go through what they went through and feel loyal to those monsters. But the exceptions exist.

He looked to Steel for a few moments "How do you know?"

[Father Steel]

"I listen to the people," he said honestly. "The good lord provides to those who are humble and listen."

[Craig Walker]

"But what are they saying? About who? These are serious accusations Father and yeah pretty damn concerning." Craig paused for a bit "excuse my language."

[Amber]

"I'll help you," Amber chimed in, shifting her position a bit more closer. "Seems to me you have an idea on how to stop some of the few from hurting the many," she paused, "and I suppose in the case of the loyalists that is even more true," Amber ran a hand through the flames. A physical quirk she retained from, some long time ago she didn't quite remember anymore.

[Father Steel]

"Stranger in town, pretty sort of lost I like to check up on these kinds of things and I hear there was a similar fellow in Baton Rouge who turned out to be loyalist, I trust my source. They called him Jack Stranger," he said tapping his bible for emphasis when it came to trust.

[Craig Walker]

Craig thought for a moment "Well I'll certainly look into these rumors for you father and dispense what justice demands should they be a loyalist but what I'm wondering is what one loyalist stranger has to do with the winter court?" He asked with one eyebrow raised.

[Father Steel]

"Well a little birdie told me that some wicked bad drug was behind the untimely passing of Mister Boney Louise, and another Birdie said that Baton Rouge hd something similar and that it came from a Loyalist motley... but another birdie said that they heard Winter may have had a hand in originally creating it and then either it was stolen or sold to the Loyalists," he said.

"Long and short of it is that there seems to be a link between the two groups on who came up with it and who got it from whom. Plus Mr. Numbers seems a sketchy sort, Lord forgive me for speaking ill of a man but it is so."

Craig's eyes went wide "I already know winter is responsible for the drug, they've been told they are not to push anymore inour freehold and to do so would mean violence which Numbers agreed to. But if the same thing is happening in Baton Rouge....that means best case scenario Winter is careless to a fault and worst case that this freehold has loyalist infiltrators." Craig was stunned, he had known loyalists were a possibility he had never imagined they would have infiltrated the courts here in Minuit.

[Father Steel]

"Just be alert, I hope to discover more soon," he said reply.

"God help us if this turns out to be worse than I imagined."
