Craig tried his best not to beam with pride at the compliment but he looked up to Redmane as a mentor and commanding officer. It was hard not to swell a little. "And I haven't forgotten about helping out with Tyrese, just a lot of irons in the fire with the festival and everything. But I promise I'll come by tomorrow or the next day to have a talk with him."

[Redmane]

"You keep the Kings away from him and I will consider that doing my boy right," he said honestly.

[Craig Walker]

Craig nodded seriously "I'll warn them away from the boy while I squeeze them for info. But the way we usually do things....they might hit back. It could start a war, you good with that?"

[Redmane]

"If they hit back, they hit back. I ain't ever backed down from a fight, in the war or well... fighting is what we have to do," he said gruffly recalling darker memories.

Craig clapped the old soldier on the arm "good on you, you're right this is what we do and we do it well. Besides been a while since we've had a good tussle."

[Redmane]

"Battle keeps us sharp, and our battle never ends," he said looking at his desk and distant memories.

Craig nodded solemnly "That is true, soldiers always a soldier." His voice was certain, convicted, a little sad it was truth for everyone he had met, you can take the way out of the picture but they just find something else to fight. "I'll report back as soon as I can."
