[D3 EA - Walker's Gym] New Blood

[Craig Walker]

Craig smirked the molten orange line splitting his pure black face "Well I dont know if I'm someone worth knowing a wash up athlete that runs a gym and coaches high school kids but I suppose I have my feet more planted than you do." He started walking towards one of the rings and smacked the canvas twice, the two fighters stopped and shook before vacating the ring.

"So here's the deal I'm behind on my workout since I got started late. But I dont mind helping out a newbie finding their feet. But if you wanna keep talking we gotta do it in the ring. That sound fair to you? I get my work out, you get whatever information you came for?"

Stepping forward she approached Craig, looking up to him more as she was forced to by the discrepancy in their heights, "I accept," she smiled, the flames flared but there was no fear for being burned. "Have a changing room?" she asked, her head cocked to the side. Arms crossed over her chest.

"For them," she inclined her head toward those others, those that could not see.

he nodded toward a changing area near the back of the gym "Of course just straight back there should be empty right now. I'll be waiting here for ya." he said with a smile and turned to walk toward the ring.

[Amber]

"I shan't be long," she said, raising her hand to wave delightfully as she passed by. A small chuckle permeating as she walked away. Finding her way to the changing room she herself went through the motions of changing, to those who's lives were not unchanged she was truly changing, but to those not she merely moved as if she did. Perhaps, one might wonder, how the woman herself pictured herself in this moment.

For as best as anyone would have been able to tell, her eyes were closed as she did so.

Finished, she'd returned outside. Though she appeared no different to Craig, she was otherwise properly attired to the others. Joining him in the ring she tested the floor, the outer limits, and smirked while doing so. Looking up to Craig with that very smirk.

"Hope you didn't grow over-bored."

Craig had lost his shirt and donned a pair of fingered padded gloves as he sat in one corner chatting with some of the others "Well I suppose not too bored." he separated from the others who were murmuring worriedly, from their outside perspective a six and a half foot tall mountain of muscle was about to fight a girl a full foot shorter and easily a hundred pounds lighter but they couldn't see what Craig could see and they didn't know how true the old adage was, you never judge a book but it cover.

"So wrestling, boxing, or mixed martial arts?" he asked for her preference in fighting style "Since you are the challenged I believe tradition dictates you choose."

[Amber]

Stretching out her arms, though she likely didn't truly need to, Amber "limbered up" as she tossed the though around in her head for a moment.

Certainly, it would be quite a show, an attractive woman up against a titan of a man. Likely, she'd have thought, this place didn't get that quality of entertainment all that often.

"Well," she rolled her neck, "I learned to fight to win, you know, by necessity. Maybe mixed then? That sounds like it's closest to what I know?"

Craig returned the smile "Alright mixed it is, no eye gouging no low blows are the only rules. You ready?" Craig said as he lowered into his stance a good low center of gravity and arms up in a defensive posture "ready when you are."

[Amber]

Coming in quick, Amber moved with grace and speed. Favoring for herself light jabs and quick actions to ultimately wear against her opponent.

She was fast, she was graceful and she had some solid skill, it wasnt so much that her blows didnt land as they didnt really hurt the big man glancing off muscles like armor. He ducked a punch and looped around her his powerful arms seizing her and slamming her to the ground.

"You're pretty good." He said backing off still in his stance "so what else did you want to know about Minuit?" He asked while making his second approach.

[Amber]

"Thanks, you're.. pretty big," she smirked, even he saw it hiding just beneath the flames. For the others, perhaps, her hair was a bit ruffled but otherwise she'd only gotten started. Unfortunately, her mind was distracted. Going in quick for another bout, she couldn't seem to find herself. Only continuing as she had before, trying to strike him to wear it down. Her scattered concentration to blame for the lack of thought on her strategy, her performance suffered because of it.

"Well, you promised to introduce me to some people. You just wanna tell me where I can find them.. or you wanna promise more than that?" she said, a heaving to her chest. Activity, she seemed to alight even brighter as they tussled. Flames wrapped around him amid the closeness and faded away past them harmlessly.

Preparing herself for another bout, as she asked, she allowed him to be the first to strike the next time around.
