"Mrrrooowww!" From where Gray was hidden, a housecat ran out from around the corner, heading into the room the woman had just come from.

[Dapper Dog]

“Oh my god aren’t you just the cutest thing! Hey why didn’t anyone mention he had a cat…” she said following Gray.

“Here little kitty-boi, oh are you scared? I am so sorry your roommate is not feeling well, oh no he isn‘t,” she said in that voice relegated for babies and cute pets.

[Gray]

"Mrrrow." Gray winds his way around the legs of the human and then plops on her foot before he breaks out into a purr, trying to feel the adoration that this detective seems to be indicating.

That's a nice emotion. Well, waste not want not

Gray lets out a coo, content to get a touch of his power back after needing to expend it to avoid detection safely.

Well...while I'm here...I may as well roll wid' it!

Gray suddenly stops purring and sits up, his ears twitching. He slowly beings to pad his way into the other room, wiggling his hindquarters as if he is stalking something.

"Mmmmmmrrrrrrhhhhhhhh." Gray tries to get into the room with the dead body, hoping that his disguise offers him a way to poke around a bit.

[Dapper Dog]

She stands as the waves of joy wash over Gray, he feels her emotion wash into his frame like waves of water as if being splashed playfully. The uniformed officer returned and said, “Hey, you said something about cat?”

The woman said, “Yeah the victim has a cat, a cute little guy. Got me a name yet?”

The officer responded, “Lousie Rivera, looks like age 24, no stranger to the law it looks like nothing major. They are sending the van to get the body. No next of kin that we can see.”

She frowned and said, “Poor bastard, I am going to take another look around.”

The body is laying in the single bathroom with a disheveled look and blood streaking from the ears, the eyes have a wild look but pale and dead. The stench of death is already setting in, but the smell is sickening sweet to his cat-like senses.

[Gray]

Gray looks over the body. It sure sounds like Boney Louise, but if she was one of us, I would see her Mein, right?

Gray decides to nose around, inspecting. Was the mein hidden, or not obvious? Or was this a fake? Was Louise not...one of us?

[Dapper Dog]

From what he can tell this is probably Boney Louise but whatever has happened has stripped much of the touch of the fae from him… which seems impossible. The woman crouched by the body looking at Gray and said, “Yeah it’s a shame kitty-boi, I hate finding people like this.”

She slipped on latex gloves and checked over the body some more, “My gut says this is more than it looks but I guess that's just me.”

[Gray]

"Mrow!" Gray looks back up at the lady, and then begins to vigorously groom himself, eyeing the woman as she processes the scene, while continuing to look around.

"Well, I don't have thumbs, but let's see if I can help the lady out"
