Tristan joined in with one of the hobs, recognizing the song as an old travelling tune that hobs would sing as they moved through Arcadia.

Joining along as well, Jonathan continued to maintain his lucidity as he looked onto the new man. "Name is Jon. What is yours?" He says it in a polite tone with a smile, though there was a bit of a cautionary look to him.

Samantha handed over the apple, unsure if the apple king's magic would even affect the goblins, and joined them on the boat. She then turned toward Tristan as Jonathan asked his question. She was interested too; stumbling upon another Lost out in the hedge wasn't necessarily common, from what she understood. He didn't *seem* like he was still in thrall, but it was still something to consider.

"Tristan," he said, breaking his song and extending a hand.

"In town for the festivities. Down from Chicago. Trying to get the lay of the land around these parts. Always good to know the local Hedge - never know when it will come in handy. Or when it will try to eat you," he said with a smirk.

Wasn't Chicago up, from here? The question gave Samantha a bit of pause, but then she decided it was probably just a way of saying it that she wasn't familiar with.

"Never been to Chicago," she offered by way of conversation, before turning to one of the goblins. "How far is it?"

"A few hundred miles, give or take," he replied, "Faster in the Hedge, if you get lucky," he said with a smirk.

The apple is not eaten instead it is placed under the stitched together top hat of the leader and the three gobs guide their craft to Junk Ville. Junk Ville is built around a watermill made of cobbled together wood and metal parts and seems to be a refuse for things people have lost in the real world… at least in the region of Minuit. The time in the Hedge has warped things that seem recognizable with often odd attachments or shapes like square rubber wheels.

The water around Junk Ville is littered with refuse and what the govs call junk fish, a cross between goldfish and piranha that seem to strip metal and plastic like it is flesh. The homes of the Gobs are built in a haphazard fashion along the river banks with the watermill standing as the central structure.

Many gobs come out to look at the Lost.

Looking on to the scene, Jonathan looks over at their new companion with a curious look. It seemed that there were still some who ignored the Baton Rouge people, which is good to see.

"Nice home, friend." He says it to Big Nose without a bit of snark. Being able to live in the Hedge as they do was impressive, to say the least. Just imagining how much work they've done to just get making that small part of their hedge into a proper Hollow was tough; they have a entire village setup like it was nothing.

"Indeed - is it well hidden or well-defended?" Tristan asked, his eyebrows raised in curiosity.

As soon as the opportunity presented itself, Samantha would disembark, and address those who had come to gawk at the Lost.

"I seek de one who leads dis settlement," she said. "A trade's been arranged."
