"Are you nuts!" Marcus gasped, letting his eyes move from the top of Craig's head to the tip of his toes and back. The other changeling could feel anger flaring up*. "We don't want people going missing, or telling tales of monsters dragging them into bushes and doing awful shit to them, do we." Smacking his lips, the beast added. "For fuck's sake, mate. I've killed people. Actual decent people, but I wasn't given a fucking choice. The demons had me do it."

One of the locals who had been listening to the two men shook her head and muttered something about 'lunatics' and 'narcs'. When Marcus glanced in her direction, she snapper her attention back to her pancakes.

Craig sighed "yeah yeah I know just curiosity ya know? What could happen. I have a feeling if I appease it myself that's all, its appeased and leaves me alone but I just wonder. But yeah yeah you're right just because I was a Killer there doesnt mean I can do something like that anyway. I doubt I'd be able to do it when it came down to it." Craig felt the anger flowing off the man in waves but he hadn't tapped into that power for a long time so he had no need to feed off the beast of a man. He chuckled though "hell of a first impression I'm making here ain't it."

"Eh." the beast shook his head, the eyes on the feathers of his tail looking as shocked as he did. "Yeah, and then Redmane's all pissed and then you are fucked. You were a man once, keep that in mind." the beast said, being a hypocrite. "I mean, if you gotta embrace your mien, do it where people can't see, neh." his cold, blue eyes sought out his. "Neh."

"Yeah. You sound nuts." the wolf-man nodded, his snout bobbing up and down.

"Yeah. Well. You find me one of us who doesnt every once in a while." He said still sipping on his coffee as he sits back in the chair casually "but yeah best not to piss off the big guy and I dont need all the hassle. So what are you up to? Got any plans or shit?"

"Well. I guess." Marcus sighed, lolling out his tongue - all to large for his snout. Large droplets of saliva dripped on the table. "Ooopsie." He pulled his tongue back with a sickening slurp. "Ladies don't like that." the beast grinned as charmingly as a monster with nearly two inch teeth could. "Yeah, don't want to get him upset, that's for sure." Their season was the season of wrath, after all.

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun. Went a popular song. Very few had actually fun with Summer. Shit got real when Summer hold the reins. Joy and Fun belonged to the Spring. "Dunno. I feel suddenly better now." the beast sounded genuinely surprised. "You still feeling it?"

He chuckled "hey I'm sure you find the right lady she'll appreciate that thing." A little levity seemed in order, things were getting a bit to heavy for Walker's taste.

Craig thought for a minute "yeah.....yeah it's still there. I dunno I think I know what I need to do tonight." He paused "dont worry it's nothing crazy....well too crazy."

"Mhmh. Well, haven't met one who wanted to get drool on her, yet." the beast noted with a sly grin on his snout. "Though, if you meet one, please tell me." He pushed his claw on the table. "These aren't that handy either."

"It is? Eh. I wonder what I did." he shrugged. "I talked about, well. Uh... eating people.. and it went away." he sounded and looked puzzled. Meanwhile, his tail did its best impression of a facepalm, considering that it lacked face and a palm.

Craig flexed and uncles his own clawed hand of obsidian "I dont know, I've found that they just have a very particular audience. Most other lost dont mind then and a few like them. Intimacy is....a different beast now." He winced a little "sorry, just meant to say it's a lot different now. Normies cant tell the difference and others like us, well a lot of them are pretty understanding."

At the second statement Craig shrugged again "Like I said, I think I took something from a powerful.....thing. and I think repayment has to be blood."

"Whatcha talkin' about?" The voice came from a fairly young girl who was now standing beside the table, head tilted slightly looking between the two curiously, hands tucked into the pocket of her hoodie with ease. She looked fairly...human, at least in comparison to the two of them, though on any sort of further question the two horns protruding from her head were unmistakable, as were noticeably pronounced points in some of her teeth if they paid enough attention.

"Weird sight, seeing...erm..." she paused, glancing around the diner. There were enough people around she probably shouldn't speak plainly; a giant wolf and the molten man stuck out a bit sitting casually at the diner.

"Well, you stick out a little bit, don't you?"

There was a low growl as the beast most fowl turned to regard the newcomer. His blue-green feathered tail flared out much like peacocks, the eyes on the feathers observing the little girl. "What the..." Marcus murmured, his voice reminiscent of thunder storms in summer. Cold, blue eyes stared down on Isabella. "Good morning, missus." the beast bobbed his large snout, offering her a smile of sorts. "Who are you?"
