"Etsy?" he looked confused.

Chantelle touched his hair, sunny happiness radiating from her. "Mais, T'Jack, I 'ave a lo' to teach you, bu you go' love it."

"If you'll teach me, I'll learn." he agreed. "But, before all of that, I'd like to get some measurements."

"An' I ca' manage your social media, it will be fameux," Chantelle gushed, but Jack's comment drew her up short, "measuremen's? Wha'eva for, mon petite?"

"Social what...? Oh, for your shoes." he explained.

Chantelle laughed, “are you de shoemaka’s elf, too? I daresay I’m intrigue’ to see wha’ you come up wit.”

Another one of the Lost made their way to the orchard; a distant shape from where the others were, but clearly inhuman in the way they moved. Something about her felt, not entirely alive?

She bled all the same, though. A knife was cut through flesh that didn't quite look like flesh; and crimson drops fell upon the soil. A momentary pain hopefully soon to recede.

Movement caught Chantelle's eye, perhaps she was just looking the right way, as she was talking to the small-framed Jack, but she spotted the halloween doll exiting the orchard. She thought she might have seen the doll before, perhaps at the crawdad boil?
