Gray doesn't know how he knows what has been asked of him from the Apple King, only that he knows the debt that should be paid in every fiber of his being. The King wants blood.

The guards don't seem alert to his presence as he sneaks onto the grounds but he feels like something is watching him. Something knows he is here.

Gray saunters over into the field. "You know, your apples missed something. I think you designed them to give the same warm and fuzzies to everyone. Thing is...maybe ya shoulda planned it for someone who was taken as a child." Gray rolls up a sleeve.

"The Lady liked to say that I was an adorable little monster even before she took me. Well...you left out something that I know I loved in my childhood. The blood."

Gray sinks his jaws into his forearm. His teeth snarl around his flesh as he chews, taking it into his mouth and swallowing. Without further grandeur, Gray violently heaves and deposits blood, mixed with his saliva and bile onto the ground.

"There. My debt is paid." Gray offers a bow and starts to walk back away.
