[D4, EE] Fit for a King

[Jack Doyle]

Jack arrived at the bookstore and looked around a bit. The repairs seemed to have been completed and all seemed well. After a short time of browsing, he looked for the Autumn King.

Jason was not hard to find he was sitting in a chair in the bookstore reading a book of Meso-American myths.

[Jack Doyle]

Jack walked up, but didn't interupt the reading.

Jason closed the book and said, “Mr. Jack Doyle, I am pleased you have returned to me. Would you like some refreshment?”

"If it isn't too much trouble." he nodded. "Something refreshing would be nice, before work begins."

[Jason Whitt]

"I can have something brought over from the bistro? Any preference or dietary concerns?" he asked.

[Jack Doyle]

"Just something hot." he said. "My tastes are fairly simple."

[Jason Whitt]

He put in an order for some organic locally sourced vegetarian soups and then gestured for Jack to follow. He brought him into the back storage area of the book store and found a space where they could work and said, “So what do you need from me, besides the materials?”

[Jack Doyle]

"Just a description of what you would like." he answered. "Length, width, design. I don't need anything detailed, unless you have such specifics in mind, but a general idea of what you hope for will give me something to start with."

[Jason Whitt]

He showed Jack a few sketches of a long thin wand with a basket handle made of a single piece of wood with a sharpened point. The handle has a serpentine design to it akin to an ouroboros. Jason said, “I simply lacked the skill to make it a reality but I sense you have the skill to make this superb, Jack.”
