The voice added, “Second question, please tell me what I am holding in my hand right now. You can answer as a group or individually.”

The voice on Discord responded, “You can simply speak, typing is not needed. I am going to give you two instructions, one is true and one is false. They are as follows: Open a book and attempt to read it or click the icon that says do not click.”

“You have five minutes to choose.”

"For the first question, explore the area around and beyond" Leah answered.

She turned to the group for the second, and quietly said "a computer mouse is too obvious for the second, right?"

Gray starts counting on his fingers, "I dont got much learnin', but I think that's one instruction. What's the second?"

Gray looks over at Dily offering a shrug. "I mean, I don't know if it's actually part of the test if they're being vague and shit, or whether I'm jus' bein' a prick. Grammar never was mah thing."

"Shall we open a book instead? I feel more comfortable with handling... tangible objects. The computer is so... devoid of emotion and history."

The spiral bound notebooks were neatly stacked on the bookcase, one red and the other blue. Next to them was the picture book sitting upright to display the title and cover.

[Gray]

"Picture book? I haven't liked children's stories near as much since..." Gray glances back at Dily. "You know. But I agree, I have a bit more stock in these than that screen over there. And I'll be able to tell if that book is hogwash."

Gray pauses. "I hope"

Craig sighed slightly "I guess I would try to get back into my body and see if that would work."

He looked to Eliza and shrugged "sounds reasonable to me."

"I understand," she nodded once, "I will take the picture book then." They each had their own past giving them the heebie-jeebies, so she figured Gray would prefer not to take the children's story.

With the book in her hands, she opened it to the first page.
