Tiffani nods solemnly at the king's pronouncement then looks over her shoulder at the aforementioned 'bound cretin.' She wondered briefly what this person had done that so angered the court - but whatever it was, she was confident that this was the right thing to do.
She takes the knife from the king and hefts it carefully in her hand so that the handle fit comfortably in her palm. Without a word, she turns and strides toward the bound victim, brandishing the blade near his face just to see if she could elicit a little more fear than he was already feeling. It rolled off him like an avalanche. Tiffani closed her eyes and, tilting her head back slightly, feasted on that fear, devouring every nuance of his emotions that she could pull from him. This ... was something she had never done before, but the power one could generate via fear was one she was growing rather accustomed to. She was even starting to like it.
Once satiated, she slices the bonds with one quick, fluid motion, taking a step back from the victim to watch what he does.
She looked in Gray's direction and gave him a wink as she casually twirled the blade around between her fingers - and - promptly dropped it. "Oopsie," she said in a light-hearted voice as she reached down to pick up the knife. She gripped the handle close to the blade, offering the blade back to the king so that he could grab the top of the handle. No doubt the king could sense she was on the verge of giggling over the fact that she dropped the knife while trying to look cool for Gray.
