Through the looking glass [D2, LE]

It was time. Roughly speaking it was around the same hour as last evening, when she had wandered the old mansion. This evening, she had stayed at home. There was no need to return to the mansion just yet, after all. And if need be, she could be there in the blink of an eye anyhow.
She stood in front of the mirror she'd salvaged and placed it in a manner where it would only reflect the wall, and whoever stood in front of it. Then she wove some of the glamour she carried, and willed the mirror to connect to the one in Medea's room; allowing her to see whatever might be seen there. And hear it too.
((1 glamour spent to activate Glimpse of a Distant Mirror))

A fresh red apple rolled and bumped into her foot unblemished and ripe.

Samantha looked down at the apple, confused. It could not have come through the mirror, as she understood the way the contract worked; but she still looked through the mirror, into the room that belonged to her Fetch, to see if it had come from there, and if not; around her, in her own place.

It did not come from the mirror, she could not place from whence it rolled in from but here it was. Sweet and ripe, eat it whole for you seem the type. Eat it fast whilst you die, or perhaps make with it a little pie.

She picked it up; and looked at it skeptically. Perhaps her knowledge of strange things might tell her what it was; other than just an apple; and how it got here.
(anything to roll?)

OOC: Maybe an Intelligence + Occult sounds good.

Samantha recalls there is a local child's rhyme that says:
"A gift of apples my child,
So sweet, tamed from the wild,
The King's gift to you,
Best not waste it, give him his due.
Honor the pact, eat the flesh,
Lest the King take your life, whole and fresh."

Well, if that were the case, she bit into the apple without much in the way of worry; her attention soon drawn back to the mirror, assuming the apple's taste did not direct her otherwise.

It was a delicious, just ripe. Not too tart, nor too sweet, just a good apple that brought back happy memories.
