There was something to be said about trusting strange apples that appear out of nowhere, but considering they were mentioning names he had never heard of and things he wasn't familiar with, he decided to ignore the wisdom of the Brothers Grimm and reach out and take a bite of one while stepping away from Alexa as the song played.

"Sounds like you all had the quite the experience yesterday." He took a bite from it and stared on, content with just listening for now and learning of their troubles.

Craig shrugged "eh answered a few weird questions and got 50 bucks. Not sure if I'd call it a day but it was something. But if you need help looking into the bayou thing Dily I'll certainly come along. I'm not much for investigating but I can at least watch yer back while you and the others look for signs of whatever you think is out there."

"Yeah, because of all that, I wanna take a look into his dreams. Maybe find out if he's planning something." Gray nods to himself. "But I might need help getting in and getting out clean. I'm already busy with that Louise thing"

Gray is silent again. "But that's not the sum of it. Best I can tell, Boney Louise is dead, and that's with my own two eyes and nose telling yas that. I was at the place when the cops were takin the body...and something was taking the Arcadia outta Ol Louise. The body looked...normal. more than us, if you get my meaning."

Mina frowned and nodded. "We should look into more of the death, something sounds really wrong. See what else you can dig up today, yes? I don't like the sound of that at all."

The pancakes were almost ready, and she moved to grab some plates when- "Oh hey, apples!" she grabbed one and took a bite.

It was like a Hallmark moment, a taste of better times gone by fleeting moments that never last.

Walker chuckled as Mina got sidetracked as she was want to do, he grabbed an apple on his way to grab the plates taking a bite as he grabbed a stack of ceramic and set them on the counter for everyone to use. He tousled Mina's hair briefly as he returned to his spot on the wall waiting for others to get food first while he munched on the red delicious.

Delicious in that way reliving a good memory was pleasurable.
