Tristan paused a half moment and then nodded.

"Hard to argue with that logic. I'm at your disposal."

[Dapper Dog]

There is a long boat with three gobs on it who looking to be fishing, the mix the best and worst of traits of cutesy elves and gray skinned goblins with needle like teeth. They were clothes of fur and leather and seem to be enjoying a lively chat as they fish in this hedge bayou.

[Samantha Hayne]

She approached the shoreline, hand held up. "Hail," she called out.

[Dapper Dog]

The gobs turn and one waved and said, "Hail strangers, be ye friends or foes?"

Another gob with a ginormous nose said, "They look like friends dressed as foes?"

The third with with lazy eyes added, "Maybe they are foes, appearing as friends?"

"We are none of dose tings, as we do not know you, so we can not be friends. Or foes."

She stepped forward, a little awkwardly as pain got in the way.

"I am Samantha Hayne, I seek de way to Junk Ville."

[Jonathan Whitford]

Hearing the dialogue, Jon began to slowly make his way down to the river. Seemingly finding a stray stag along the way, it seems. Not sure if friend or foe, so he still kept the metal rod close to himself.

He stood there, looking at the two while awaiting his need to be noticed. "Well met, friend hobs." He nodded and let Samantha continue.

[Dapper Dog]

"Well Junk-Ville is not far at all," the lazy eyed one said.

"What it's very far, over at least a hill right?" said Big Nose.

"Hrrm, well tell you what we can take you there but I want a soda bottle... one of them pretty and shiny soda bottles? You Lost got one?" said the third one.

She looked toward her companions. Samantha, for her part, did not have a soda bottle.

[Jonathan Whitford]

"I do not, but I can make sure to get you one another time when next I return to the market if you happen to be there." Jonathan nods his head. "You'll have my word on it."
