[D3 EE 5th Street] Walker Minuit Ranger

[Craig Walker]

(possibly open but also potential for danger)

Walker had donned the armor of modern combat, a bullet proof vest under his normal white t-shirt and now slightly singed military jacket, his dog tags hung around his neck, those had been a bitch to get back but he had done it with the help of some friendly changelings he met in New York.

He had a pistol on his hip and a very solidly made baseball bat in hand as he walked down 5th street, in a town the size of Minuit, the bad places were well known even to those that didn't walk them often. Craig approached the area most known for King activity and looked about to see where they were gathered.

The Kings were a symptom and a cause, poverty and mistreatment drove them and they in turn passed that cruelty on to their neighbors. The Gladstone Housing project was their stomping ground and even as he approached he could see a gaggle of them on a stoop playing dice while one got his hair braided by a hanger on.

He didn’t see any visible weapons but it would be foolish to think they were unarmed. The Kings were violent not usually murderous but they tended to solve issues with blood before they solved it with words. The one getting his hair braided was Dequan, basically second in command, handsome muscular and no stranger to the cops.

He had tattoos all over his arms and on his face and he was of mixed descent, his skin a light brown with eyes that were thin and hair that couldn’t decide if it wanted to be curly or straight. The young woman braiding it probably should have been in school but here she was.

Altogether there were eight of them on that stoop.

[Gray]

Gray had begged off, long before Craig made his appearance. Fitting his nature, Gray flicked his tail and let out a sigh.

"If I know bullies, they ain't gonna be happy just outnumbering you. They're gonna have someone waiting in the wings to surprise you when your back has turned. If they do...they're going to regret it."

Gray shadows Craig as he makes his approach, keeping to the shadows and doing his best to remain out of sight.

Craig nodded his appreciation to Gray "Hopefully it doesnt come to violence but if it does we do what we have to." With that he headed toward the one named Dequan and got as close as they allowed him to "Hey, you the one they call Dequan right? I have a couple questions for ya brotha bout a new drug that's been poppin up lately. You know anything about it?" The question was pointless, if it was illicit and people were buying it he was sure the Kings knew about it.

Sitting across the road drinking tea seated on a folding chair was Bennie Wunai, the old Lost watched. He was old but a samurai trained as he was did his duty even if these gaijin were foolish and awfully poorly dressed.

"We brothers now?" DeQuan replied with a sadistic smirk.

"These are my brothers, you... you just some motherfucker that came into my house without something to give. So what's in this for me."

[Craig Walker]

Walker scoffed "I remember a time when we all considered each other brothers. But I keep forgetting that time is passed." So far he kept his temper under wraps.

"What do you want? I dont have much money to spare, I'm just a many looking out for his community. That shit killed someone I know and I'm doing right by them and others."

[Dapper Dog]

"Man," DeQuan replied with a shrug, "You talking about the goofy ass Boney? Yeah we sold him some good shit but I told that motherfucker can't be just going hard on it like that other rock. This shit is the dime piece of rock, my brother."

He smiled and said, "Comes in from China or some shit like that, tell you what you give me five hundred and I can put you in touch with my dude. You sell that shit on my street though, you get fucking dead real quick, you heard?"

Speaking ill of the dead, especially dead that they had caused...Walker was being pushed and he didnt handle it well. He had some his best to be polite but perhaps there was only two languages these people spoke.

He surged forward with big hands wrapping around Dequan's throat as he lifted him into the air "Now you listen here brother I tried to do this nice, asked nicely and everything. You tell me what i want to know you I'll crush the life out of you. And you can have your guys attack me and they might kill me but i guarantee you'll be dead before I am." His voice rang with self righteous fury and for the briefest moment Dequan might notice his eyes flash from a deep brown to a bright gold.

DeQuan was taken off guard by the action and shouted, “Motherfucking I’ll smoke your ass!” But his words were not backed up by reaching for his weapon as he was still momentarily shocked.

Three of the gang drew weapons, two pistols and a knife the rest stood up and looked surprised and unsure if they should fight or run.


Across the road Bennie Wunai finished his tea and rose languidly, he was a short squat and solid figure and slowly made his way across the street.

OOC: I will allow it, Strength + Intimidate with a -1 penalty since he has backup.
