She turned back to the queen at that.

"Your patience must be admirable" she said simply as she finished off the last of her sandwich before picking up her iced tea once more.

“As Queen I have found my lack of patience a benefit, waiting is what lessers do,” she said honestly.

“Mr. Numbers is good at what I need him for, continue to be useful and you won’t have to find out.”

She sipped her tea and added, “I am not stingy with rewards or punishments.”

"I have no interest in rewards. I am here, I do as needed, then I move on. Each day will prepare me for the next, as long as i have what I need to do what I'm asked I can work with it" Eliza shrugged "I believe we will have a fine working relationship, as expected. Whether that will extend to the others of our court I haven't worked out yet. The two I've felt are very different to myself."

“I like that, we will get along just fine then,” she said in reply setting her cup down.

“So I won’t have to expect them burning down any buildings soon then?” she said with mild sarcasm.

"I don't think they would light a candle" Eliza accepted the humour aimed at her with her usual expression "I haven't spoken to them, but one reminds me of a toy and the other reminds me of a deer."

She shrugged.

"Winter has never been picky in who it welcomes."

“I’m picky who I choose to waste time on, so keep that in mind,” she corrected.

There was a nod.

"Understood. Unless there is anything more you need of me my queen I won't take any more of your important time either."

She looked down at her phone and tapped away saying, "Good."

There was a nod as the girl rose.

"You know how to contact me if you need me."

She nodded to Mr Numbers, then went up to the counter, paying for both hers and the queens food before making her /exit (unless stopped)
